My family moved to this area in 2010 since my son is going to Wake Forest for a joint JD/MBA. I have always loved NC. The move helped my son with his living expenses; we got out of the humid SC weather and to the mountains.
I am a former Program Manager with a strong financial background. I worked for several years as a virtual Sr. Program Analyst. I worked from my home during that time. I have held a variety of positions throughout my career. I started as a clerk typist and moved through a series of financial positions. I went through an electronics apprenticeship for the Navy and worked as an electronics technician, logistician, project manager, branch financial manager, ISO internal auditor, and more.
My husband and I owned a small landscaping business for a few years, raised our son, and went back to school. We managed all that while working full-time.
I received a BS in business and an MBA with honors in both degrees.
I was the first female Program Manager in our Division and the first female MBA in our Command.
I currently volunteer at the local library and work with a stitching group that makes items for local charities.
I take classes on occasion and want to keep my skills and mind sharp. Working part- time helping local businesses would be ideal for me, and I guarantee that I will be a valuable asset to you.
